Dennis Wolfe's Instant Lead Guitar
This is me, doing what I love; playing music on the beaches of Ambergris Caye. Ambergris Caye is an island that lies thirty miles off the coast of Belize, a country in Central America. This tiny, English-speaking country is almost hidden between Mexico and Guatemala and is only a two-hour flight from the U.S.
I am not a concert musician. I am proud to be a club musician; a blue-collar journeyman honky-tonker. Anyone who knows fifteen songs can be a concert musician. A club musician works four or five hours a night, all week long. At times, I sing and play eight hours in a day. After all of these years of playing music, performing on the beach with my band,
The Usual Suspects, is still the most fun I can have with my clothes on.
After living on Ambergris Caye for over twenty years it must be said that it is great to live in a place where musicians rank just a little higher on the social scale than lepers. As a respected member of the community of San Pedro Town, I write a humor column for the local newspaper, support myself by working as a musician, own a home and have a family. I even have credit cards and a bank account. All of those things make it different from being a club musician in the U.S.
The Instant Lead Guitar Method is designed for the working musician or those who need to play lead guitar immediately in order to perform. The course has been stripped down to the bare essentials, leaving only what is necessary to do the job.
The method assumes that the person learning this knows nothing of guitar. Therefore, someone who can strum chords or play rhythm guitar is truly an ideal learner. It will work for any beginning lead guitarist or even the more advanced player who wants to learn how to play country, gospel, rock or blues.
Why The Instant Lead Guitar Method Works
The Instant Lead Guitar Method teaches only what you need to know in order to do the job. If, however, you want to become a guitar god, information is provided to take you as far as you want to go.
The people that I teach personally are on stage and on the job as they learn. They are playing songs from the beginning, putting what they learn into a song immediately. This is much better than fumbling around in the dark, wondering why you are learning scales. With the Instant Lead Guitar Method, your stage will be the computer. Your backup band is a mouse click away. So find yourself a jam and sit in.
Instructions, illustrations and musical samples are clearly and lucidly explained. Using this method is like having a teacher with you in the room at all times without all of the bad things about having a teacher in the room.
